Mission: Provide financial relief to families with sick children, specifically those suffering from cancerous brain tumors, relieving the burdens of medical travel, loss of work, and medical costs.
We began as a single fundraiser to provide financial relief for the family of Brock “Brockstar” Russell. Brock was diagnosed with an Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT) located on his spinal cord in the winter of 2013. Brock’s treatments eventually took his family out of state multiple times for various clinical trials and surgery along with regular treatments nearly an hour from their home. This placed a huge financial burden on the family due to travel and accommodation expenses. Our goal was to provide the family with what little support we could offer via funds to cover those expenses as well as supplement wages lost.
When Brockstar lost his battle in October of 2016, we knew we couldn’t stop helping families fighting the same battle. We continued the fundraiser to support a local family in Norman, OK. Now we are expanding from that once a year event to small events throughout the year and continuous options for giving. This will allow us to honor Brockstar’s memory and provide much needed relief to even more families.

We had the pleasure of the Brockstar Foundation reaching out to us to arange a poker run to raise money for my daughter! The money raised was a blessing it helped us pay for chemo treatments, medications and medical Bill's. Without the help of the Brockstar Foundation during that time it would have been financially devastating on our family, and for that we are entirely grateful for all they did for our family!
